Shoreline Communications has completed interoperability testing with N-Soft and Sonant. N-Soft's Etrog, a TAPI-enabled ACD software and Sonant's ClientCall eCenter both work with Shoreline's IP voice communications systems.
Etrog has a TAPI interface with inbound and outbound call routing options and targets the small-to-medium sized call center market.
"The Shoreline Communications IP voice communications market is, in every respect, identical to the call center market we are addressing with our Etrog product," said Dave Nolting, head architect of Etrog. "TAPI is the key link that binds our two products. Together, we provide a dynamic inbound and outbound call management solution for this exploding marketplace. We look forward to the opportunity to work and share ideas with them."
The interoperability certification of Sonant's ClientCall eCenter handles contact over IP voice-communication networks.
Sonant's family of call center automation products and services include features such as Automatic Contact Distribution (ACD), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), electronic payment by phone and Internet, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), fax-back and Web callback.
"This represents a significant milestone for Sonant, because we have demonstrated our technology's flexibility and sophistication for use over the ultimate network, the Internet," said Sonant Executive Vice President, Jim Stafford. "And, we can now provide this functionality for other than phone-based systems."
