  • Outsourcer Stream will open a 1,000-seat call center in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

  • Air New Zealand may close its 86-person Christchurch, New Zealand call center because online ticketing has reduced calls. The airline has been making lots of cuts lately -- 70 clerical jobs are going to Fiji, the company announced last month.
