Our most recent Call Center Demo and Conference may have been in Florida, but the call center managers at the show came from many areas of the U.S. and the world, from Venezuela to Virginia. They also represented companies from diverse industries, from auto care to health care.
We were happy to welcome back those of you who have been coming to CMP's Call Center Demo events since the first of these debuted in Orlando five years ago. We were also pleased to meet those of you who went to a call center conference for the first time.
You'd expect that the majority of attendees at a call center conference would be from the same city or state where the conference is taking place. That's a reasonable assumption, given that we've located our Call Center Demo events in regions of the U.S., like Florida and Texas, that have some of the greatest concentrations of call centers.
Yet the majority of conference attendees who specifically went to both the conference and the exhibit hall weren't from Florida. Roughly three-fourths of these attendees came from hundreds of miles from Florida, mostly from California, Ohio, New York and Texas.
That confirms something you've probably noticed all along: Call centers, and their customers, transcend boundaries. So did many of the purveyors of products and services in the exhibit hall. They, too, came from all over the U.S., as well as from locales as diverse as Barbados, Egypt and Wales.
Amid the variety of products we saw in the exhibit hall, three really got our attention. Each focuses on a specific need, from ensuring your center's automated systems are up to speed to helping you select the best leaders from among your team. All of them impressed us; they'll impress you, too.
