AnswerNet, a Pennsylvania company that manages telemarketing, telesales and fundraising programs for companies and nonprofits, has been beta testing the just-released AuthLinx Pro. AuthLinx Pro is a new server created by Authtel to aid with "Do Not Call" compliance.

AuthLinx Pro resides between the predictive dialer and the agent. The outbound number is passed from the dialer to the AuthLinx Pro Server, which then screens the number against Authtel's hosted Do Not Call database. Numbers found to be callable are completed and passed to the agent, while numbers found on the "Do Not Call" database are identified and returned to the dialer for proper disposal -- all in milliseconds.

"AuthLinx Pro allows us to remain in strict Do Not Call compliance while improving our efficiency and lowering our costs," says Ben Harris, AnswerNet's Business Development Manager and chair of the Direct Marketing Association's Teleservices Council. "AuthLinx Pro has allowed us to focus our resources on our business as we no longer need to scrub and re-scrub client files."
